pickI enjoyed this approximately 10 year snapshot of Mary Glatzle‘s NYPD career from Academy days (1969) to her promotion to first grade detective in 1979. It covers some pivotal cases she was on in her SCU days. That was a super rough time period in NY-a Lot of discussion about juvenile street crime. Also a lot of rape, so this could be triggering. She came on the job at a time when women had different shields and were called Policewomen.
