Rolf Harris was always amazed that in his home town of Perth, Christmas temperatures reached over thirty degrees, yet people were singing songs about Christmas in the snow! So he set out to write something that would capture the difference about Christmas in Australia, where there's no snow at Christmas, and reindeer are found only in zoos. The result is Six White Boomers, an immediate success when it was released in 1960. Published as a picture book, it introduces a whole new generation to this true-blue Australian classic. Sing along with Rolf as you enjoy the fun of this unique Christmas song.
