As interesting as this was I bailed half way through because it became too damn repetitive.

Eggs Aww a shame when that happens 🙁 1y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I hate when that happens!! 1y
RamsFan1963 I agree, the author drives his points in over and over again. I felt like bailing but I finished it because a friend, who really enjoyed it, gave it to me to read. 1y
TheBookgeekFrau @RamsFan1963 For a while I thought I might go back to it. But, ultimately, I got the point and didn't bother. 1y

Fascinating read with an interesting hypothesis of great leaders and mental illness. While the author doesn't give enough statistical data to connect the dots on his belief, he does present a solid argument to support his views. From Churchill, to Lincoln, to Gandhi, and even JFK, just to name a few, personal information from each is combined to paint a picture of leaders thriving with mental illness.
