Beneath These Lies
Beneath These Lies | Meghan March
6 posts | 11 read | 3 to read
From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes a riveting new stand alone novel in the addictive Beneath series. Are you ready to go back to New Orleans? Look, but don’t touch…she might as well wear a neon sign that says it. It just makes me want her more. She might be above me in every way, but I still want her under me. I’ve got no business touching her rich-girl skin, but that won’t stop me from stealing a taste. Because rules were meant to be broken—especially when the prize is so fine. In a world where nothing is as it seems, what's buried beneath these lies? Beneath These Lies is the fifth book in the Beneath series but is easily enjoyed as a stand alone.

I have this book 3.5 stars.
Luckily the gang header was as under cover cop which redeemed the book for me, though I still hated the temporary love triangle thankfully that wasn't throughout the book.

Despite reviews to the contrary, I quite enjoyed this book. Danger, forbidden love etc. I saw a lot of reviews about how the Love story was implausible, I‘d disagree. It happens more than you‘d think, not to mention the story itself is more than it appears. Got, steamy, fun, and engrossing.

Lauren_reading I love her books!! 6y
BethM @LaurenReads I haven't listened to or read a bad one yet! 6y
TsundokuAleax Now my turn for questions: do you prefer whole or grounds for coffee and any preference roast or flavors? Any tea preferences? Flavors you love or hate? 6y
BethM @TsundokuAleax I'll do whole or ground. Light to medium and flavors are great. Generally don't like coconut. Tea is my jam- hard to find something I don't like. Again no Coconut and generally don't care for chamomile. 6y

If you want a steamy, suspenseful story then this your book. I enjoy that March's stories are about strong, independent, yet broken women. If you're looking for a superior written tale in the romance/erotica genre then I highly recommend this title and author.
