A beautiful and difficult collection of comics exploring womens' experiences with sexual harassment, molestation, and rape. There are disturbing repeating patterns in the lived experiences told here, offering a small snapshot of what millions of women experience. This comic was inspired as part of #MeToo.
Naturally, strong content warnings for molestation, sexual harassment, abuse, and rape. #Nonfiction

Powerful, necessary, and highly recommended. I had to take the collection in small doses as most of the stories were brutal.

Last #libraryhaul of 2019! Couldn‘t resist the draw of the new graphic novels shelf at the library this evening. I‘ve got plenty to help me read in the new year tomorrow night.

P.S. how awesome is it that there is a comic book for the show Glow?!? I was so excited when I saw it o the shelf. 😄

Suet624 Have a lovely time! 4y
kalinichta I'll be interested to see how the Glow and MST3K comics are. 4y
Eyelit @kalinichta the Glow comic was really fun - a neat little side story that fit pretty well into the verse. I haven‘t read the mst3k yet, but I‘m really looking forward to it 4y
kalinichta @Eyelit Very cool. Thank you! 4y

Difficult to read at times, but I think it's a vital addition to the literature and art of the #metoomovement. There was such a great diversity of stories and illustrations. The book shows how sexual abuse can differently impact each person. This book shows just how important it is to support, raise awareness, and act on behalf of the #metoomovement
