The fourth book of the series, from the viewpoint of Jon (Miranda's younger brother). Four years after the asteroid hitting the moon, Jon and his family are now living in a divided Tennessee between the clavers and the grubs. The first two books were intense with natural disaster destruction, but dang this one was intense with human destruction.

Much better than the third book, I'm glad she didn't end with the last one.

"There's no normal anymore," Sarah replied. "Normal got lost four years ago. It's never coming back."

I started this series in middle school, but never read the last book! Was browsing for a new read and stumbled across the series again, so I‘ll finally be able to finish it for real!

Finishing the last book of the series so that I can add them to my class library. I definitely think this is a series that my students will like, but I believe that the dystopian genre is losing steam.
