#nonfiction2020 #womensrights this was a fascinating topic - that women‘s XX chromosomes give us a powerful survival advantage, that having 2 x‘s to choose from means we don‘t get as many x-linked disease/illness as men. Yet a lot of scientific research and studies have ignored women. The book itself didn‘t have as much substance as I‘d hoped, a lot of anecdotal and didn‘t hold my interest as much as I wanted it to, but I'm glad i read it.
