A super-long day of work at the hospital followed by a 45-minute commute home deserves a leisurely float with a good book.

This 2nd Kincaid and James mystery is even better than the 1st one! It is a quietly twisty psychological mystery. Superintendent Kincaid displays his very human side and you almost don‘t want him to solve this mystery. I love the interaction between Duncan Kincaid and Sergeant Gemma James. They play off each other‘s strengths. I highly recommend this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finished book 2 in the series! On to the next #audiobook...when the library hold comes in ☺️

Part of me loves paperwork days, because it means I can sit at home doing work and listening to audiobooks! Enjoying this series, it's a good pick for when you are doing housework or driving because it's entertaining and doesn't require your full attention to follow the major plot points. Besides, who doesn't love a classic "who-done-it" read?

Hmmm... light entertainment... not crazy about the conclusion... this was my second Duncan Kincade and it probably was my last.

This light read is just the right thing in this heat!
