Pick, if you don't know anything about Neanderthals and other human species now extinct. If you keep abreast of current research, it may be too basic for you. I'd give it to my mom so she can unlearn all the myths she learned in school. Like the exhibit, the book is mostly about breaking myths about this species, our cousins. I'll push it toward my son in the coming weeks.

Megabooks I studied under one of the top Neanderthal scholars when I was in college! It was cool. When the PBS documentary came out, I thought, “I bet Steve‘s in it.” Then I heard his voice. It was a fun moment. 5y

Book (and H. Sapiens skull) bought. Son scared to bits by the bones but in good (blurry) spirits now that he's out of the room. Heading to another exhibit somewhere here. Don't know which.
