I love Margaret Atwood. Such a great writer! Grace had such a sad destiny. I loved the idea of Dr. Jordan in the book. But he was a coward. As well as Jeremiah. They both loved her but none helped her.

This is the fifth volume from "Foundation" series by Asimov. I finally found out where the Second Foundation is. I've never thought that was on that planet. Not in a million years.

I love this volume too. This series belongs in top 3 best SF novels ever together with "Dune". True SF world. Amazing predictions on the future. Such a beautiful world.

"So I cannot sit here without thinking of the ladylike bums that have sat on this very settee, all delicate and white, like wobbly soft-boiled eggs".

I ♡ it. I love these 19th century novels. Not because of the love stories but for this silent atmosphere. With people who love and apreciate nature. I admire their strenth, they had simple desires: food, a home, a family. Nowadays everybody complaints about everything and wants to be the best.

A great adventure novel with a great storyteller.

"In a Dark, Dark Wood" is way better than "The Woman in the Cabin 10". You can find the same unsecure heroine in the book, though.

Nora is invited to a bachelorette party by an old friend whom she didn't speak for ten years. In a house in the middle of the wood. If that doesn't smell of murder and mistery then I don't know what.

The characters are a little bit boring and superficial and the twist is meah. The author reminds me of Stephenie Meyer

I finished the first volume from "Dune". The series is one of my favorite.

I love "Dune" not because of its political, religious and other themes, but because of the way the author describes the planet. When I read it, I can feel the sand under my feet and the Sun in my face. The adventure. The wilderness. The silence.

I hate Jessica. She complains all the time. And she controls his son. And I hate that the author made Chani a baby factory.

That moment when you buy a book by its cover and it turned out to be dissapointing. The way the author writes is not that bad but...lord, does she have misconceptions. About fat people, about having a certain age. And she is so anxious and self-centred. Like the Earth spins around her. She seems to have no hobbies, because she observers everything. Every fucking detail.

And sometimes she is shameless. Like kissing a man's pubes. Cmmon.

Never buy a book by its cover.
