Andrew65 @gradcat Today not been the best day, but not the worst either. Getting by. Endoscopy on Saturday and then ultrasound the following Saturday. Been a bit improved recently (until dip today) but have to be off acid reducing medication this week ready for the test on Saturday and leading to a few issues today. But hey life goes on 😊 School keeping me busy which helps during the day. Losing weight but that‘s because eradicated most fats from diet. 5y

EadieB @Andrew65 I'm so tired of passwords. I have to change them all the time and I can't remember where and if I wrote it down and which words I capitalized. Now I can't get my mail. 5y

gradcat @Andrew65 First, I can‘t believe they do those tests on the weekend, but I‘m betting that‘s good for you—keep you from having to miss teaching, right? Second, you have to stop the acid reducers? Is that so that they can better tell how bad/good it is? I don‘t remember having to do that, but I can very well understand that stopping those meds would cause some irritation. Did the docs tell you to eliminate fats? Just curious...your docs may be ⬇️ 5y

gradcat @Andrew65 ⬆️ Cont. slightly ahead of ours. I read abstracts on gastro problems, and very often the cutting-edge stuff is coming from over there. I‘m really hoping they identify and then fix the problem for you. I‘ll be thinking of you and hoping for speedy recovery! 5y

Andrew65 @gradcat Thanks 😊 I‘ve been trying to reduce my cholesterol levels and saturated fats (genetics) but seemed as after eating chips / fries pains seemed to be worse. Could be wrong in this and could be coincidence but since eliminating Chips and higher fat foods pains eased. Of course of gall stones mat just be in a lull period. Reading online seemed to indicating reducing high fat foods and processed food, both lead to 👇 (edited) 5y

Andrew65 @gradcat 👆higher levels of bile being released that can increase pain levels. More intense biliary colic with higher bile levels released. To be ho nest willing to try anything! Could be following myself because at moment biliary colic and gall stones is only a hypothesis. 5y

gradcat @Andrew65 Oh, I really don‘t like those tests that you‘re having, but really it‘s the colonoscopy I truly hate. None of it hurts, so don‘t worry about that if you haven‘t gone through this before—it‘s just the prep that I hate. I hope you can get some relief, and very soon...I‘d hate for this to linger while you‘re now back at school. 😟 5y

I should have just gotten your address and sent you regular books, but I didn‘t have your address and I didn‘t want to miss your birthday. That‘s what I get for doing everything at the last minute! 5y

gradcat @Andrew65 Well, at least you know what you‘re in for. Good luck with all of it...I hate these types of problems, but mine started when I was 16... so I guess I‘m used to it (sort of). Take care of yourself—eating right will probably go a long way to helping you, no matter what it is. ♥️ 5y

EadieB @gradcat I got my email fixed. I had to contact Comcast and they reset my password. I got the ebooks you sent me from Amazon. I did not open them as I have already read all the books in this series. Thanks so much as it is the thought that counts. Maybe you can contact Amazon and they will credit you. 5y
