Pumpus Has a Glowing Idea! | Prabakaran Soundararajan
Pumpus the Pumpkin loves science and inventions. He and his friends are excited to go camping on Halloween. But once they arrive, they realize they forgot the matchsticks to start a campfire. Pumpus, using his book of great inventions, solves the problem by sharpening a piece of wood--abiding by all safety rules--and rubbing it together with a piece of Aspen to produce friction. He explains how friction produces fire, and demonstrates , being sure to follow fire safety precautions, until he creates an ember, which he carefully places into a ball of dry grass. The campfire is glowing! Now, the camping trip is saved, and the three friends carve their jack-o-lanterns and share ghost stories. Through science, mechanics, and safety, Pumpus saves the day.
