Beautiful book. Gorgeous illustrations. Ed is in a bad mood and just keeps sweeping with his anger. The pile keeps getting bigger and bigger. Will Ed ever stop sweeping? Hm... I guess you need to read it to find out! Just a sweet story.

Thank you so much @Pogue for your lovely holiday card! I‘m sorry this is super late as I was away just managed to get it now! Happy New Year 🥳
I have previously used this book in my kindergarten classroom as an interactive read aloud, followed along by a comprehension extension activity.
The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming is about a squirrel who counts his leaves and notices one of his leaves is missing. The squirrel goes around and asks different animals if they have stolen his leaf. In the end of this fictional story, the squirrel learns that the wind took his leaf. f.
I love this story line. It is an inspirational story line about the effects of one small thing and the big outcomes it‘ll lead to.
I think this is a great book to teach your students aout the seasons and why they are the way they are! This book provides many hands on activities and would be a great read for the classroom!
