Death of a Policeman

Book 29 in the Hamish Macbeth series sees more messy romantic entanglements and multiple gruesome murders. I love listening to these because I love the small town village life of Hamish and all of the eccentric busybodies that live in Loch Dubh. Dunno what I‘m going to listen to after I finish this series. Does anybody have any good recs for cozy mysteries with a decent amount of books in the series? 4⭐️

First book finished I‘d the #FabulousFebruary Readathon.

Another good book in the Hamish MacBeth Series but found it took a long time to get into this one and not quite as good as some others in the series. In this section find Hamish and his police station targeted and Blair is on his back as much as ever.

This wasn't as exciting as the last two Hamish Macbeth books in regards to the murders etc, but i felt so sad for poor Dick losing his first real chance at love, and all because of Blair! 😡
And Hamish, bless him, trying to make amends with Elspeth only to be shot down and told it won't ever happen.. ☹️

Second book from the #24in48 readathon. This 29th series entry finds Hamish battling his foes in the police force and struggling with his love life. As always, a quick read with eccentric characters set in Scotland. The basic storyline may be the same in every book, but I look forward to every visit I make to Lochdubh.
