Another good book in the Hamish MacBeth Series but found it took a long time to get into this one and not quite as good as some others in the series. In this section find Hamish and his police station targeted and Blair is on his back as much as ever.
I‘m continuing the #FabulousFebruary Readathon by reading Death of a Policeman. I am 31% through and hoping to finish it today.
A long while since I read a Hamish MacBeth series, but correcting that by picking up the next book in the series for me.
pickThis wasn't as exciting as the last two Hamish Macbeth books in regards to the murders etc, but i felt so sad for poor Dick losing his first real chance at love, and all because of Blair! 😡
And Hamish, bless him, trying to make amends with Elspeth only to be shot down and told it won't ever happen.. ☹️
pickSecond book from the #24in48 readathon. This 29th series entry finds Hamish battling his foes in the police force and struggling with his love life. As always, a quick read with eccentric characters set in Scotland. The basic storyline may be the same in every book, but I look forward to every visit I make to Lochdubh.
Finished book two! Nearly at seven hours. Brief break before I venture onto the next Hamish Macbeth mystery. #24in48
