I was slightly disappointed this wasn't different, but I think for a book about my contemporaries it was very realistic. So much has changed in our lives since 9/11 and in particular with the election, it's easy to see how all four characters kind of just lost it in their own way for a while. The writing was also superb.

This book sounded fascinating from the description. The characters go back and forth from Post 9/11 College/early adult years to post 2016 election middle age years. They are just about exactly my age so much was relatable. I definitely invested in the characters and the story and really enjoyed it. I thought it might be a five star read but the ending didn‘t really bring it all together for me.

Cinfhen Sounds really good👍🏻 thanks for sharing 5y

Hazel0303 I feel like you took the words right out of my mouth. I'm about the same age and while I thought this would be different, I found this to be very interesting. You definitely have to be in the right mindset to read it though. 5y
