“I am so sorry. I've been horrid. Of course I'd love to try it on. And it looks simply splendid. Do try it on me at once, please do.“

The Chronicles of Narnia is a great story for upper elementary readers and capturing their imagination through the story telling and interesting characters through the story.

The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis showcase the entire history of the magical land of Narnia and the several children from our world that helped shape it‘s destiny. I love the simplicity of this story and the truth that is layered throughout. There are so many beautiful allegorical elements that add to the overall story. The beauty of Narnia is that you can read it as simply a great story or choose to see the deeper meanings.

Thanks @CaffeineAndCandy for organizing this. I definitely enjoyed reading the Narnia series. It was nice to step back into nostalgic memories that this series always brings in mind.

i.besteph (Contd) The last battle was anti-climatic in one word. IMO, I was expecting a Lion and the Witch showdown. Something dramatic. Idk. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 It was nice to be reunited with many of the characters from earlier on, especially the Pevensies. 3y

I am fine with the series ending...I think I was looking for what I wanted instead of what these books had. If you‘re not in love with the preceding books and not a completist, I recommend just not reading this one. Patrick Stewart read the audio and did a ton of voices so that was interesting.
Book 2/6 for #BFC
Still doing okay with the meditate, having napped one day instead. Giving myself some time outside before facing work today.

CrowCAH A great book series! I‘m not sure I‘ve seen the third movie. But there‘s a fourth in the works; heard it through the composer grapevine on the For Scores podcast! 5y
