Really excited to finish this series!

3 books later, still super jealous of Grove's ability to build hundreds of believable worlds and never even pause the plot. I did feel like by the end the myriad of plot points and characters didn't quite come together in the satisfying way I would expect from a trilogy, but it was certainly worth the ride. Most importantly of all I found the written description of Theo doing finger guns so funny I started using it in emoji 👉🏻👉🏻
FINALLY IT IS MINE (for the next 14 days, that is). I love this series, about an Earth where the world has fractured into different historical ages, and a girl sets out to find her long-lost explorer parents. It fills the Golden Compass-shaped hole in my heart quite nicely.
SO happy this book 3 finale came out this week! This Mapmakers series truly is something distinct and wonderful. Series conclusions are also so deeply satisfying. I can hardly wait❣
Just starting this right now. It can often seem as if there were nothing new in the fantasy genre, but I love the unique alternate history world of the Mapmaker's series. Characters learn, grow, & make mistakes & not everyone is clearly good or evil. Great audios read by Cassandra Campbell.
