21 #50 I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is amazing. I honestly forgot sometimes that it wasn‘t Desi speaking. I liked that it was conversational and that Desi was very respectful to everyone involved. However, I think it was more about making himself look good than sharing the truth. But his confidence/arrogance was really him so it worked. The book was written in 1974 and there was no political correctness. So refreshing! 😂

I found another gem on Audible Plus!

I‘ve always been a huge I Love Lucy fan and have read several biographies about Lucy, Desi and others. Desi wrote this in 76 and speaks very candidly about his relationship with Lucy among many other things. He had no problem admitting his faults & I admire him for that. Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fernando from Fuller House) is the narrator & does a phenomenal job. I felt like Desi was right there personally ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 Telling me his stories. And he had so many interesting ones to tell! I can not recommend this enough. Looking forward to getting Lucy‘s autobiography via #audiobook when my credit comes in from Audible for the month. 5⭐️ 4y
