This was such a good mystery. I‘ve loved all of Chanel Cleeton‘s books.

It‘s been a busy weekend. I didn‘t want to try to figure out what to read so I kept with this series. Besides this full book I also read a couple of short companion stories to this series. A Deadly Brew and Rockets Dead Glare.

This book took me back to junior high. Of course, it‘s a mature point of view. Beautifully written. I felt that it maintained the spirit and integrity of the Little House story perfectly in it‘s simplicity. A must read for Little House lovers.

I‘ve been on a little bit of Royal reading journey lately. I enjoyed this book a lot. I hadn‘t really ever thought much about The Queen Mother before.

This book surprised me. It was so good! The true story of Charlotte Bill, who was the nanny of two future kings. David, who abdicated for dreadful Wallace Simpson, and Bertie, who was his successor. More importantly, she was the nanny of their little known baby brother Johnny. The one she cherished most.

I like this little series. It‘s good for when things get to serious. Gives my mind a break.

I liked this book. It moved a bit slow at times but a very interesting story based on the author‘s own family.

Waaaay too romancy for my taste. Good story other than that though.

I loved this book! Not especially deep but a sweet story.

This was interesting at times. But the ending felt contrived. Other than that ..meh.

This book. It grew and grew I became more and more attached to Martha Ballard. Worth the hype.

I‘m working my way through all of Kristin Harmel‘s books. This is the 7th. She‘s definitely one of my faves. This one is a bit lighter fare than some of the others. Not a bad thing, for sometime we need some light. The characters were likable even though flawed. The story was wrapped up in the end. Not all the characters got their happily ever after but Kristin shows respect to them and to the reader by giving them all closure.

Amy Harmon never disappoints. This one started out a bit slow for me but it could have been my head space at that moment because it picked up quickly and I was hooked. I loved the ending.

I‘m doing a book bracket for 2024. So far this is in the lead for January. But I‘m about to read an Amy Harmon book. And she‘s always a contender!

This one. Beautifully written. Painfully long. Pointlessly so. Maddeningly so. By the end I was irritated and weary with the author‘s self indulgence. Again acknowledging almost lyrical words and beauty of the story. But lord have mercy…there were times I think I could have skipped a whole chapter and missed nothing in the story line.

This felt like the finale of a trilogy. Everything got wrapped up. And I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books.

I liked this book way more than I thought I would. I‘d never even heard of Kick Kennedy before this book.

This story was interesting, although I do feel that it went a bit long. The last 1/4 of the book I kept thinking, “okay, let‘s wrap this up.” But overall a good read. “Good books are like amazing sunsets and awe inspiring landscapes. Better enjoyed with someone else.” -Zophia

This was a great start to the new year!

I didn‘t really care for this one. I‘m just not sure if it was that I was not in the mood for it or if it was the book wasn‘t that great. I usually enjoy Sarah Sundin. Maybe it was me.

The final in this series. It has been perfect to listen to while doing all the Christmas things.

One more of this series. And it‘s been a great wind down for 2023.

Number 100 for 2023. Goal reached. I‘ll finish this series and I already have my next read lined up. But I can read it at my leisure.

This was 99 in my reading challenge for the year. I am fully invested in this series and will probably finish it before I read anything else.

Number four in this happy easy series. Perfect for Christmas. Beach read but the family happy feeling is Christmasy.

A new little light cozy series to read thru Christmas.

This was a little too cute. I‘ve gotta stop with the Christmas stories.

The book had potential but I got bored. A very weak storyline. Plus I hated the romantic interest. So all in all … meh.

A new cozy mystery because I need some cozy right now.

This book is so light and feel good. It was like a vacation. I‘m in a mood that I just can‘t with anything heavy.

I don‘t do Hallmark movies at all. But I do like a good lighthearted somewhat predictable (in the very best way) Christmas book. This one fit the bill!

I thought this would be a cute little coffee shop cozy mystery and it was but kinda boring. This series is not for me.

I‘m deep in the middle of planning and researching my summer trip to Italy so the book seemed appropriate. I started it as a time killer until the book that I really wanted became available. But it turned out to be really good. A light read in the best way!

This is the latest in one of the first cozy mystery series that I ever started. And I‘ve been waiting a while for this one. This book was pretty good. The biggest complaint that I have about it is the “flirtatious” banter between Claire and Mike. I don‘t know why I found it icky in this book. It wasn‘t over the top. There was never much detail. Definitely rated PG but still it had a high idk factor. That could be just me though.

I listened to this book on audible. It was a great story. The narrators voices and accents were awful to the point of being funny. But the story was so good I didn‘t even mind.

I usually hate time travel books. But this one was so well done. Lessons to be learned.

I really enjoyed this book and at times could relate on a personal to some of the storyline. That is when you know that the author has done it right.

I‘m not sure how I feel about this one. I‘m not much for the paranormal. It was entertaining and funny at times. Not sure I‘m crazy about the main character. Maybe she‘ll grow on me. This is the first of several books in this series. I might read the next one but I‘m gonna a need a break from it for now. Two in a row is too much.
