I didn‘t care for this book. The protagonist is whiny, selfish and rather unlikeable, imo. I found the story to be not very compelling. The most interesting character in the book is Graham and the author didn‘t do his storyline justice. Also, it was just a typical modern story with very little substance.

This book hit home a little too hard. Not because it‘s the story of Elvis‘s family. But because it‘s the story of loss and grief. The story of a daughter losing a father. The story of a sister losing her brother. The story of going thru hard things. I know how these things feel. The situations are not the same but grief is grief. And I can relate to that.

I did not enjoy this book. I‘m not sure why. Amy Harmon is one of my faves. But I just wasn‘t into it.

Another new installment on a beloved series and audiobook. Listening to this series got me thru a long bout of covid in 2020.

Something has been wrong with this app for a few days. Nothing was coming up when I opened it. I finally had time to mess with with a minute. I reloaded it and it‘s better now. So I‘m posting a few books in a row that I have read recently This is a sweet little book. First in a series, Christian based and a little cheesy. But sometimes my weary mind needs that.

I find Stanley Tucci so charming and interesting. He‘s like old Hollywood. He‘s effortlessly classy. Everything from the way he speaks to the way he dresses and the way he eats. His humor is dry and smart. This book is a diary and it is exactly what the title suggests. His daily life centered around what he ate. Sounds boring but like Stanley… so charming.

The latest in my favorite series. The audiobooks are perfect! Love all the characters! I‘m so attached!

Leanne Morgan is hilarious. I started following her during the pandemic. I ran into her at the beach a couple years ago. She‘s just as fun and down to earth as she seems. This book is her. 100%

Started a new cozy series. Light reading.

This book! I‘m fascinated by the Kennedy family. I‘ve read many books about them. But this book by RFK Jr. is on a whole other level. I started following him on social media a few years ago. I find him super intelligent, charming, funny, compassionate and so dedicated to America‘s wellbeing. He‘s forthright about his shortcomings. This book reinforces the idea that agencies have been abusing their powers for over 60 years. And it continues.

This is the second in the series. I loved this first one. This one was okay but I found myself checking to see how much was left. It was a bit lackluster.

I devoured all three books in this series. So good!

These books are so good!

This series is sooo good. I love a girl protagonist that kicks butt!

This book! I started it just before bed and it was so exciting from the first sentence I almost couldn‘t go to sleep! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole book. I dove right into the second book as soon as I was done. This is contender for best book of 2024.

Here‘s the thing. If Amie K Runyan is writing it I‘m reading it. This one did not disappoint!

This one was my least favorite and final of the series.

Second in this series. The books are not really connected to each other. The stories and protagonist are completely different.

I‘ve gotten behind on posting my books on here. I‘ve been traveling. So the next few posts are a dump of the rest of September books. First I started with this Bletchley series. I really love reading about the women who worked at Bletchley.

This series is so feel good, corny and warm. When I can‘t handle anything heavy it‘s a perfect read .

One my least favorites of this series.

I liked this one. It took a minute to get into it. It felt a little superficial. Nothing too deep or thought provoking. But a nice read.

This is by far my favorite series ever. With Stephanie Plum being a close second. But Jana Deleon finishes her books. More often than Janet Evanovich. I already can‘t wait for the next one!

This is the latest in a series I‘ve been reading for years. I‘m not sure why. I guess the stories are good enough but there isn‘t a single character that I like or that I think I could be friends with. Even the protagonist is an annoying snob.

Hedy Lamar‘s story. Quite an incredible lady.

I was so conflicted about this book. It‘s one of those that started out a little weird, a little slow but it‘s Kate Quinn; different for her. I must persist. It took a while to become invested in the characters. Plus there is the whole weirdness of the house‘s POV. I hated that part and thought it added nothing to the story. But the book finally grabbed me and finished strong. I‘m glad I stuck with it. Kate didn‘t let me down.

I loved this book so much.

This book was so much better than I expected. And with good ending after so much sadness.

I went to Italy for two weeks and didn‘t read a thing. I didn‘t listen to a thing. It put me behind in my reading challenge and I don‘t even care. I‘ve been home for two days and I finished this while doing laundry and catching up on all the things. I liked it and was a perfect listen while doing chores.

This was a sweet book. Romancy but I in a sweet way.

This another series I have been reading for years. Like catching up with friends.

The finale (I think) of a series I‘ve been reading a while. Some books better than others. They got less interesting and more annoying as the series progressed. But I‘m happy to report that it ended on a high note. I think the author listened to some of the critiques of the other books. This one was less preachy and had a pretty solid story line. I don‘t know if it was sufficiently wrapped up but at least I was not irritated the entire book.

This is one of my favorite series. Light, funny, well written and the audible performance by Cassandra Campbell is perfect.

Oh I should have read this months ago. So good!

Cozy mystery time.

Being a fan of Audrey Hepburn. And Sabrina being one of my favorite movies, I loved the little nods to both throughout.

I liked this. It wasn‘t mind blowing and I do remember thinking during the book at one point…how much longer?

I loved this book. I‘m going to this region of France in June so the timing was perfect for it. Aimie K Runyan has become one of my faves.

This is a new series. Really good cozy mystery. Cant wait for the second one to come out.

The best thing I have read all year. Hands down. I absolutely loved it. I now have a crush on Butch Cassidy.
