bailedComing from Aotearoa NZ I‘d always been interested to read Mansfield. Not really for me however. The characters and situations lean into ‘hysterical women‘, the events not all that interesting. I enjoyed the descriptions of places, furniture, clothing, transport but ultimately after 50 or so pages I had to put this down.
