The chapters on food, romance, sex, art, and fashion are the best chapters of the book. Learning about the metro was fun and I could relate because I have been there. If you‘ve never been to Paris, I‘d recommend that you should go.
You can‘t read a book about Paris without having a chapter on fashion.
