Fantastic read for me!
Very excited for this one! Greece was my first European country that I visited and I spent some time on Mykonos (pictured below!) I bought this for myself ages ago after seeing it in a Greek travel group on Facebook, but I'm only getting to it from my TBR stack now. #BookTwoOf2025
Great setting beautifully described, with clunky dialogue and two dimensional characters. The story was okay. But I finished it with an hour to spare before Libby reclaimed it!
Tomorrow I‘ll start Grim Reaper‘s Guide.
Progress was made on the rest.
Fun readathon!

Newly appointed police chief of Mykonos,Andreas Kaldis, is faced with solving a ritual murder of a young woman. She is discovered bound & buried on a pile of human remains inside a church. Tassos,a previously retired police chief joins him in the race against time when a 2nd woman goes missing a few days later. The reader is immersed in the backdrop of ancient churches, sun bleached white stone buildings, and a brilliant blue, simmering sea.

Apparently this is the first in this series- I have read two others out of sequence & it has not mattered. I almost bailed on this when this became a rather gruesome serial murder but now I am glad I stuck with the book.
Great murder mystery series set in Greece.Fast read, gripping story with exotic setting.Would make for a nice beach read.
