One of the best books I have ever read! Thrilling, mysterious, poignant and never dull! Hard to believe this is a debut novel. Looking forward to Hana Tooke's next one. A must-read for lovers of adventure of all ages.

I just finished this junior book. I really enjoyed it. Lemony Snicket fans might like this. While the children are portrayed as different, they are also very talented with various skills in sewing, art, math, storytelling, and an affinity with animals. When they put their heads and talents together ... well, that would spoil the story. Just know there is a character with a handlebar mustache named Rotman who might be up to no good. 🤨
