Wow! This novel is a work of art like the Mona Lisa with her grin, enticing you to keep reading. The writing style offers an amazing suspension of belief right from the first page until the end. And, the end, oh the end, I want more. Easily my favorite, a book that I will re-read multiple times. The writing style and plot I can only say I think is completely amazing. Like a song that takes you into a trance, it took me into another world.

Educational, inspiring, redundant.

Success Habits, by Napoleon Hill was written from a radio broadcast he conducted in Paris, Missouri. I've read quite a few books, along with Think and Grow Rich and felt this was a bit repetitive. A valuable tool to keep on hand for a continued reference. There's easy to follow instructions in this book, some enlightening suggestions, and important topics necessary for a fulfilling life with successful habits.

Poignant, real, charming, easy-to-read.

This was a delightful read, character driven novel written in the first person from the perspective of Duffy. He lives in The Centennial Assisted Living Home with his friend Carl. They receive a surprise guest by the name of Josie. Josie adds the details necessary for the main characters to question their life, and life choices. She brings them together helping them along their life path of destiny.

Powerful, stunning, memorable, one of my favorites this year. It's historical, fantasy, magical, with a bit of paranormal. It touched my soul, took my mind into new heights of imagination, feelings untouched opened, a wound resurfaced, then healed. The main characters have a dedicated chapter, their family history interwoven into different time periods. A must read. #MrBook1inaMillion #24B4Monday

This novel will stay with you forever, imprinted on your mind, a history never to be forgotten. The writing style‘s phenomenal, unique with respect to the quick change between characters but effortlessly keeping the story in line with the plot. This novel does a superb job with descriptive emotional detail but from a courtroom setting therefore as a reader, I took in the situation on an objective level instead of an over emotional depressing one.

Action-packed, triumphant, engaging, fascinating.

Fireborne‘s a novel destined to become a classic, the plot centers around two characters. The revolution involved dragons that belonged to a specialized few, after the revolution that changed. The dragon rider‘s became based upon a merit-based system for all people, that must be proven from tournaments. The two main characters Lee, and Annie are dragon riders, with one of their identities hidden.

Supernova Era | Cixin Liu

Pickpick

The novel's story is written from a historian perspective, detailing what happened within the three years of the Supernova Era. The perspective from children during this time I felt was fascinating. Their main challenge was overcoming inertia, and wanting to have fun instead of working. I found myself wondering what I would do at that age. The Epoch Clock left me sitting in silence. The ending was a surprise for me, not what I was expecting.

Historical, educational, riveting, thought-provoking.

The writing style flowed effortlessly, pulling me into the story with the descriptive realistic characters. The story primarily stems from the characters Daniel, and Ana, they have a sweet memorable romantic attachment. The other subplots pertain to bull fighting, and a religious adoption service. The plot weaves between the characters relationships with relevant historical details.

Creepy, fascinating, haunting, page-turner.

Unique and creative storytelling which is difficult to do with horror genre. The television show script developed within the plot was surprisingly enthralling. The novel has the perfect mixture of horror, details, and emotional connection between the characters. Through the story I was left guessing who and what might be real, a ghost, or just plum crazy. It all comes together in the stunning ending.

Addictive, engaging, intense.

Darlington was a super fun read. The story's told from his point of view, which is addictive. Loved the witty and creative thought processes of Tommy. When he gets in the mood to murder someone, there's no qualms about taking that action. I would've liked more gory details, and a few more killings but overall the story was entertaining. There's drugs, murders, some violence, great descriptions, and criminals abound.

Panpan

Predictable, easy-to-read, elusive, heartbreaking.

Drive was an interesting read, but boring for me. Quite predictable and I didn't like how the main character couldn't drive a race car because of her fathers accident. On a side note I found it irritating that Piper the main character kept calling her father "Daddy."
The writing style was interesting and that's the only reason why I finished the book. The romance was lacking emotional content.

Poignant, entertaining, engaging, scary and at times sarcastically funny.

What I found most fascinating about Growing Things and Other Stories is the opportunity of delving into the authors personal thought processes. The "Notes" at the end of the short stories provides unique details on each short story and how they relate to his other books. The author gives valuable information about how he writes, and obtains ideas for his stories.

The character's are well developed but at times the story becomes dull with predictable elements. Later in the story.
