Heads and Tails
Heads and Tails | Courtney Acampora
1 post | 1 read
Crocbits, Rabphants, and zeboses, oh my! Lift the flaps to match an animal head with a different body! Heads and Tails contains 21 animals on split pages to mix and match to create silly animal combinations. A crocodile and a rabbit becomes a "crocbit" and a moose and an elephant becomes a "moophant"! Flip the book over for more heads and tails to mix and match.

Happy #worldreadaloudday! I mean, every day is a read aloud day when you‘re a children‘s librarian, but it never stops being a joy. Plus I got to have storytime and outreach visits with the local elementary school today! #raisingreaders #kidlit

Catherine_Willoughby I find it hard to read aloud. I remember as teenager in school , forced to read aloud Emm by Jane Austen . I easily read the book in private but to read it aloud I couldn't pronounce some words . The teacher was very cruel. Said I was not able for this level of reading! I was reading Stephen King from the age of 11 in private. I love reading in my mind. I can hear the character(s) in my head. I even read 100 pages of War & Peace till I got bored! 5y
