This shit blows my (former) corporate-multimillion/billion-dollar-loan-analyst mind. A bit dry, but a worthy read.

▶️🎧 Starting this audiobook while pulling “suggested” assignments for my boys this morning. Their teachers and principal have been phenomenal through all this, providing love and support, and making sure our kids are happy and healthy. Life is weird right now, but we‘re making the best of it.

SilversReviews Looks like they are doing a fantastic job. I am a retired teacher, but am glad I don‘t have to do this. :) How do they evaluate and get grades? Love your Mac - I used to have one of them, but went to a MacBook laptop. Enjoy your day. (edited) 5y

britt_brooke @SilversReviews Since my sons are young (K and 2nd), we are doing the provided work, but it‘s not being turned in nor graded. We have weekly Zoom meetings with their teachers just to touch base, see one another, and their classmates. I think it‘s easier for the little ones. We‘ve had this Mac for so many years. It‘s pretty ancient! I still like it, though, it‘s huge. 😆 5y

britt_brooke @Reviewsbylola I‘m so happy to hear that! A lot of my friends‘ kids‘ schools are demanding much more of their elementary age kids. It blows my mind. Right now, keeping them happy, healthy, and active is what‘s most important. 5y

Reviewsbylola Right?! I would have a serious problem if our school was breathing down our necks. We haven‘t even started school yet today. They‘re building a fort now and they‘re happy so I‘m just letting them ride that wave. Well start school when they‘re fighting or bored. 😂 5y
