#bookspin done! I have finished all the Sherlock Holmes novels now, so I have 3 x short stories as a permanent fixture on my book spin list until I get through them all 🤯

Enjoyed these short stories, some were a little obvious, but I enjoy ACD‘s writing style, and the little humorous touches.

The fourth case in the Adventures of SH series and it starts to get a little repetitive in Holmes' teachings. I also think this case could have benefited to be a little longer... it just felt so rushed. #Sherlocked

"finally returning to the hotel, where I lay upon the sofa and tried to interest myself in a yellow-backed novel. The puny plot of that story was so thin, however, when compared to the deep mystery through which we were groping. And I found my attention wander so continually from the action to the fact, that I at last flung it across the room..." #threwitacrosstheroom #photoadaynov16

Assuming you already know Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a romantic, this one is far too easy to figure out.
