A Most Curious Murder
A Most Curious Murder: A Little Library Mystery | Elizabeth Buzzelli
9 posts | 7 read | 11 to read
Jenny Weston moves home to Bear Falls, Michigan, to nurse her bruised ego back to health after a bitter divorce. But the idyllic vision of her charming hometown crumbles when her mother's Little Library is destroyed. The next-door neighbor, Zoe Zola, a little person and Lewis Carroll enthusiast, suspects local curmudgeon Adam Cane, but when he's found dead in Zoe's fairy garden, all roads lead back to her. Jenny, however, believes Zoe is innocent, so the two women team up to find the true culprit, investigating the richest family in Bear Falls, interrogating a few odd townspeople, and delving into long, hidden transgressions--until Adam Cane isn't the only body in town, and they have an even bigger mystery to solve. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Elizabeth Kane Buzzelli's quaint and compelling series debut A Most Curious Murder will delight cozy mystery readers.

Cozy mystery‘s are not my usual taste for reading but as a frequent Lending Library user & obviously finding this book in a one I had to give it a chance. Murder, damaged lending library, a little romance equaled out to a not too bad story. Jenny Weston moves back home with her mother after leaving her husband to only be thrown into the midst of multiple murders with her new friend & neighbor wrongfully accused. Time to prove her innocence

So these books caught my attention while I was zoning out at #librarysg after work, last Saturday.
Another #cozymystery - let's see how closely it's linked with #library or #books

I recall hastily borrowing the book of verse (thanks to technology, I can use the hp to loan books ;)) at the risk of missing the bus ;p

Easy, enjoyable read. Loved that it had a Little Free Library as part of this mystery. 3.25⭐️

This was ok. Jenny was not really an appealing character at all. I may read the second one to see if the series gets better.

A bit disappointed there wasn't more of an Alice in Wonderland presence but it was a decent enough murder mystery.

A Most Curious Murder is the first in the Little Library Mystery series. A cozy mystery set in a small Michigan town, there are two murders that must be solved and a destroyed free library to deal with. I just put this one in my own little free library. Enjoyable and fun.

A fun whimsical and quirky cozy mystery with a touch of Alice in Wonderland, likable characters, and an interesting mystery

Debbie_Rodgers__at_Exurbanis I've heard good things about this and I'm looking forward to seeing how the Alice theme is developed. 8y
