It's a short novella that was just a lot of fun to read!
pickA one-sitting novella that shows what happens when you mess with Robin Hood's kids. A cursory knowledge of the Robin Hood mythos is helpful, so skim Wikipedia or watch any of the movies (dramatic or comedic) first if you are completely new to the property.
pickI will read anything with Robin Hood so snagged these as soon as the pre-order was up. These novellas feature Robin and Marian's children, who live up to their parents' noteriety. I really enjoyed these, as Carrie put it, Robin Hood fanfiction.

Enjoyable without really feeling like a whole story; it's like a coda to the Robin Hood legends. Surprised and a bit confused that there will actually be a sequel; the legendary characters far overshadowed their children, and yet the sequel seems to be planned to follow the children. Meh?
