Mehso-so

This picture shows The Lucky Lottery with my not-so-lucky lottery ticket. This book follows 3 friends Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose on their investigation when someone steals a winnings lottery ticket from Lucky O‘Leary‘s home. They‘re racing against the clock because if they don‘t find it in time, Lucky won‘t be able to claim the prize. This book is great for students who are fans of the series and want to read more about Jack, Ruby Rose, and Dink.

Ryan_R If students are really into this series, this list of detective A-Z work will surely be intriguing to them. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Browse/Search:reading%20a-z%20mysteries 5y
Ryan_R UDL 5.1, using different media to understand can be used by the activities listed above. It also can be viewed in the sense of looking through the characters perspectives. ESOL 4, connecting to prior knowledge can be used for this entire series. Most of the titles explain the problem or mystery so you know what needs to be explained! #UCFLAE3414SP20 5y

DrSpalding What a creative image! This series is one that I truly enjoy! It works as a simple read aloud after lunch and an easy guided reading or literature circle group for second graders or higher level first graders. The content is appropriate. 5y
