For anyone who loves in/near Chicago…pay Semicolon Bookstore a visit! The staff were so inviting, the layout and art are outstanding, and they even have a shelf of free books! Loved our visit there today.

Here‘s the second indie bookstore I went to today. Semicolon was super cute, with lots of big murals and a bookshelf of free books??? I got Front Desk (which I had just added to my TBR yesterday for free, and then bought Arsenic and Adobo. Great store!

We took a quick trip to Chicago & I was finally able to visit Semicolon Bookstore. The space is small but gorgeous. K enjoyed checking out a new book in the reading room w this great wallpaper of written affirmations. Chelleo @Nute — The owner had plans to open up a very different type of space (membership literary/libraryesque co-working space). It kept hitting snags and the concept was change to a bookstore. “It represents the point in a sentence where it could stop, but the author decides to proceed”. 3y
