This is a beautiful photo book with a synopsis introduction of the photographer‘s journey around the beautiful Great Lake. I was fortunate to grow up in the Great Lakes region & work on Lake Michigan for some years doing water quality work. My boss from the City of Racine gave me this with the inscription when I parted ways. I‘ve paged through many times dreaming of these places over the years since. I‘ve left a piece of my heart with this water.

Had a wonderful trip in #northernmichigan with my family! I don't think there's anything better than sitting by a lake #upnorth with a good book 🏖️📚

AmyK1 Northern MI is one of the best places to be in the summer. I grew up about 45 minutes south of TC. 4y
aperfectmjk We're headed up to Frankfort, MI next weekend, can't wait! My husband and I love MI. It's a very relaxing vacation. 3y
JamieArc I take a solo trip to Northport for my birthday every January. Even in the winter, it‘s beautiful. I always go to Sutton‘s Bay for the bookstore 😊 12mo

7/10 - escape

We can all be hummingbirds and can make our own larger differences. I am escaping to Wisconsin tomorrow and hope to spend some time with my dearest Great Lake.

Top left and bottom right are pictures of me jumping from and standing on the white part of the lighthouse. My friend Nic in on the top right and bottom left is the fencing (not barbed wire) now up to keep crazy kids from doing this stunt. I‘m sure people have gotten hurt. Worst for us was Nic cut his foot on the ladder on the breakwater. Oh, the old days!

Eggs Nice lighthouse! So glad you‘re alive and unbroken ☺️ 4y
Cosmos_Moon We were professional lifeguards back then and I guess we thought we were invincible. Could have ended badly, but we just got the thrill 🤗 4y
