When the cookbook you just downloaded from #NetGalley includes an unexpected and totally unnecessary sidebar glorifying the Confederacy. Seems tone-deaf for a new book at this time. (I was even more flummoxed when an episode of British series #MidsommerMurders featured confederate flags all over the place —at a Wild West fair— in season 13, aired in 2010. I skipped the episode.)
