I listened to this audiobook on the drive home from Biltmore, so obviously I‘m the target audience. It was probably a little more detailed than I needed, but it was still a nice compliment to my trip.

Graywacke Quite a place (and love Asheville) 6y

Today I took my parents to visit The Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC and they had a special exhibit of costumes from many bookish films based on books that were favorites of the Vanderbilt family. Look what we found in the Library❣️

SaraFair I have family near there and we almost went at Christmas, but they were smoking dope with those prices at the holidays. This looks so awesome! 8y

If you're looking for a book to read after George Vanderbilt died to see what happened to the Biltmore Estate, I highly recommend this book. An amazing landmark of North Carolina is satisfactorily portrayed in the pages of this book. A great read before or after seeing the Estate!
