A stunning collection of poetry about the end of all things--human life, our planet, our loved ones, the plants in our yards, even our pets. Terribly sad, but also gorgeous. For me, collections of anything usually have some duds. Not so here. Every poem is tremendous.
Exhausted BUT exhilarated! Margaret Atwood‘s latest poetry collection ‘Dearly‘ is astonishing! I have spent the night/morning/day reading and experiencing (first time round) Atwood‘s new collection. Her poetic voice and vision has been a true bedrock in my life. Since her first collection ‘The Circle Game‘ in 1974, Atwood‘s perspective, care, precision and ooooooh so apt observations have been stunning! Poetry matters! Art matters!
