Holy shit! My musical hero. I‘ve enjoyed his audio book so much but we could not get to a live event - so this zoom with the purchase of the physical book from an independent bookstore was a major win! I saw Rush with Primus (the moderator Les Claypool) opening in 1994 from the front row. Hand to my heart, I forgot the words to their songs. 😂💗 I was in awe.
Hair is now getting a little thicker. The burn on my left side is a radiation burn, which is very normal. I am almost done all my acute cancer treatments, with 5 more radiation treatments left. I‘m looking forward to drinking alcohol again and being able to have my life back, to a certain extent. #cancer #update
Update: surgery went well. It was a day surgery procedure so I was home by 5:30 pm. My surgery lasted about 2 hours, was in recovery for about 90 minutes and in post op for about 6 hours before being discharged. I haven‘t read anything since Sunday evening, as I have been exhausted and can‘t really use my left hand yet, as I have a pillow under that arm at the moment. The pain is subsiding, helped by pain meds. #update

This is the longest book I‘ve ever tackled (760 odd pages or so) and it‘s going rather well. Really easy read despite it being so long because it‘s soooo good! On page 293, only started it Monday :)

I‘ve been waiting for this for a long time. Kindle now has your current read as a book cover screensaver. Just updated my kindle paperwhite to the lastest version and I have it. Recommend this if you own a kindle.
