"A Roof Gone To Sky" is a collection of lyric poems. The work reflects a period of the Kate McCann's life when she lived and walked her dogs on Boston's South Shore, a later period when sheserved as a pastor of a small flock in rural Missouri, and a more recent return to the Massachusetts coast. Other pieces revolve around thoughts and emotionsof an Irish American during a sojourn in Ireland. McCann's work is reflective in nature and very close to daily life, both indoors and out.
