I cannot get enough of these Australian Red Dawn like books. Seven teens are forced to grow up fast and become guerilla soldiers in the Outback. The Tomorrow Series is the name and they are just fantastic. I wished I had known about them when I belonged in the age group that they are intended. #SeriesRead2022 @TheSpineView

bthegood I have read a few series that I'm not the intended age group - glad you found a series you enjoy - always good no matter what age we find them 😉 (edited) 3y

Yesterday‘s #sustainablestockton freebies. I loved the Australian Tomorrow when the war began series by John Marsden as a kid so I am collecting them again for the little people in my life.

Victoria_Clyne I pick books that I love in preparation for when my kids are old enough. 4y

#bookface - the best this is going to get after being at the gym.

TirzahPrice I was obsessed with those books the summer before 8th grade. I read them all in like 2.5 weeks in a crazed fervor and then had wild fantasies about how to survive an enemy invasion in the "wilds" of rural Michigan. 8y
JPeterson @TirzahPrice Haha, same here! Just replace Michigan with the country and woods of New York! 😂 8y
