so-so

I did not like this book in a way because of the mysogeny. But I do like history, and this book was written with a more accurate reflection of time and how people interacted. It has made me more curious about customs and actions so that is a plus. I would not recommend it as a great book, but I would recommend it if you like history and gothic writing.

Reading this between writing paper and studying as an easy to put down read. I used to like Victoria Holt Books but this one seems annoying and particularly mysoginistic. I‘m wondering if it was the time she wrote the book?
