pickI loved the characters and the friendship that helps both Alexi and Bodee find their voices. This is a raw and honest look at the aftermath of rape.
pickFaking Normal is one of the most important books I've read. It describes rape culture so accurately and the feelings of being a survivor really had an impact on me.
pickThe characters are so believable and the storyline is one that is often too real to even stomach. Shocking twist to the who-done-it leaves the reader wanting to know more of why and how? Very informative on social issues that plague today's teenage culture.
Starting a new book tonight! This one has been sitting on my shelf for ages
