Pickpick

Took me by complete surprise. A thriller for the digital age, with a voyeuristic quality that gets under your skin. Tense, briskly told, and totally unique. Definitely check it out.

Mehso-so

So this was a weird book. There seems to be a lot of love for it out there but I can only give it a so-so. The story is based on the IRL #gamergate. I'm not a gamer, but I found the story to be both horrifying and interesting that there's was this whole section of society so opposed to working with women. ⬇️

DrexEdit In order to recreate the“voice“ of the nameless, faceless internet, a good portion of the book is narrated in the first person collective invisible. It was weird to get into and not terribly easy to stay with as narrators kept changing. (edited) 3y
DrexEdit In the end I think we just got a#gamergate story and not any real insights into the events of#gamergate. 3y
