It's the TMNT event of 2020! Springing from the minds of TMNT co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird comes an epic like you've never seen before! In a future NYC far different than the one we know today, a lone surviving Turtle goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends. Kinetic layouts from Eastman, and a thrilling script full of surprises from longtime TMNT scribe Tom Waltz all combine to make this one of the most memorable TMNT stories you will ever read! This is a perennial TMNT tale that can't be missed!

Wow. They really went full out in this Last Turtle Standing story. It felt more in tune with the original dark comics. Blood and twists everywhere. The time span and new world order are interesting. As it‘s basically one turtle out for revenge against Karai‘s son. This is something every fan has thought; what would happen if Shredder won? What if only one brother remained? Who would it be and how would they cope? #tmnt

You can take the turtle outta the sewer... but you can‘t take the sewer out of the Turtle. #tmnt

Finally got my hands on it! Cannot believe how fast it sold out everywhere- had to do a reprint. Idw‘s highest number of reprints and sold outs in history
It‘s the grim story of a one surviving Turtle who goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends. The Last Ronin is based on an unpublished 1987 story concept by Eastman and Laird. That itself is amazing to hear, let alone how it fits with 2020 #tmnt
