Queen of Bright and Shiny Things
Queen of Bright and Shiny Things | Ann Aguirre
8 posts | 12 read | 22 to read
Sage Czinski is trying really hard to be perfect. If she manages it, people won't peer beyond the surface, or ask hard questions about her past. She's learned to substitute causes for relationships, and it's working just fine . . . until Shane Cavendish strolls into her math class. He's a little antisocial, a lot beautiful, and everything she never knew she always wanted. Shane Cavendish just wants to be left alone to play guitar and work on his music. He's got heartbreak and loneliness in his rearview mirror, and this new school represents his last chance. He doesn't expect to be happy; he only wants to graduate and move on. He never counted on a girl like Sage. But love doesn't mend all broken things, and sometimes life has to fall apart before it can be put back together again."The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things" is a story about love when you least expect it, from Ann Aguirre, the "New York Times"-bestselling author of the Razorland trilogy.

Mehso-so

I have finally finished this semester 🙌🙌. I picked this ones since it was the one I had been reading and I enjoyed it. We follow Sage, who is determined to be perfect and not cause trouble as she just to in the past. Enters Shane who wants to lay low and move on. They start to get to know each other and things start happening. Sometimes I left it for a while since I felt like I had read the same story before, but It was a light fun read. 😊

This book was really good. It was a sweet and interesting read. I couldn't stop reading it. I love the way the writer wrote the story easy and addictive. Along the way Sage keeps telling herself she doesn't want to be the girl she was before, so i was curious to know what she had done in the past. Shane's has secrets of his own also! Mysterious to. 3.5\u005 stars. ⭐️
