The Power of Broke
The Power of Broke: How Empty Pockets, a Tight Budget, and a Hunger for Success Can Become Your Greatest Competitive Advantage | Daniel Paisner, Daymond John
3 posts | 7 read | 1 to read
John draws from his experience founding FUBU on a $40 budget and building it into a $6 billion brand, to show how being broke can force us to think more creatively, use resources more efficiently, connect with customers more authentically, and come up with those out-of-the-box solutions required to stand out. Drawing on stories from dozens of entrepreneurs who have bootstrapped their way to wealth, he shows how to leverage the power of broke to success.

Started well but then the chapters became repetitive and the book is littered with solicitation.

Cheers to me tonight- I paid off a student loan today! I think that looks like a 5oz pour 😁. So proud! If anyone wants to share any budget tips, fire away!

Megabooks I paid one off recently and put the money I was paying towards it towards my smallest loan. I didn't need the money right now, so it seemed to make sense to do that. 8y
Megabooks I need to see a financial planner though. 8y
Ashley_Nicoletto Definitely a 5 oz pour. 😉 8y
