Got this on #netgalley, and then had to order the real thing because it's sooo good!!! Mini biographies of women writers -- some well known, some not -- and a comic for each. Delightful! And bonus: the authors of this lovely book are the hosts of Bonnets at Dawn, my new favorite podcast, and the art is to die for. 💕☕✍

Thank you, #NetGalley, for this #ARC!

I've never read a graphic biography before and didn't know you could write one. This was a great way to learn about classic female authors; definitely added a lot of things to my TBR list because of this. The Illustrations were lovely, but I found the cursive a little hard to read in the PDF. The page-long bio before each woman gave us just enough information without being too overwhelming.

Rehesina However they could have added a little more to these bio's because I got the sense that they haven't decided if their audience is that for adults or for children. We do have very few women of color in here, even though they tried; they should have tried harder to add more, especially from different parts of the world; right now the book focuses only on female authors from America and the UK. 5y
