Tons of exposition and I'm already halfway through. Betting it's going to be a busy second half of the book- I'm excited!
pickSolid debut. I was planning to wait longer to read this book but I bought into the IG hype, and no regrets at all. This reminded me strongly of anime and C-dramas. I just loved it. I highly recommend this for Asian-inspired fantasy enthusiasts, particularly of the East Asian variety.

pickI loved this book! I enjoyed reading it a lot and loved the characters as well. The action was well written and I loved the book plot twists. Overall, quite emotional and impactful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tonight‘s reading is a YA fantasy due out later this year. If the remainder of the book is as good as the first few chapters, this debut may well be one of my favorite books of the year.
