I've been hearing about Enneagram recently on SO many of the podcasts that I listen to, and I delved into it a little bit when we read and discussed Anne Bogel's Reading People in episode 43. I was eager to learn more.⠀

UnabridgedPod As part of this whole process, I read this book, took two online quizzes, and took the quiz at the beginning of Ashley's book for the podcast, Milleneagram, and I have gotten a different result. Every. Single. Time. I feel sure that this sort of scattered result means SOMETHING about which Enneagram number I am and about my own self-knowledge, but I don't have the expertise to know what that thing is. ⬇️ 4y

Fun to see people's Myer-Briggs types. (Supposedly I'm an INFJ.) But I prefer the Enneagram test where I typically end up a Type 5: The Thinker/Investigator. The description always seems to fit better. It's based on what drives you/what you fear most.
Anyone else ever taken the Ennegram?

EllieDottie Whenever I take the test I get a different number 2,4,5,6,9 .... I've tried to read the descriptions to figure out what I am but I don't really resonate with any of them..... I would love to dive deeper to figure out exactly where I fit! 7y

merelybookish @EllieDottie My inexpert guess is that you fall somewhere in 4, 5, and 6...since they overlap somewhat. I think reading the defining fear or purpose driving the type is helpful. That is what needs to resonate. Or don't worry about it. 😁 7y

Librariana I'm considered an ISFJ, but I've never taken the Enneagram test before... hhmmm.... "ok Google" 7y
