For the second title in this series, I tried it out on audiobook and I liked it even better in that format. The audiobook is full cast, so each character has a different voice. Plus it incorporates sound effects and background music. In this book the kids get a Hippo that escaped from the zoo, enter the best pet contest, and try to go to an amusement park. This book is full of thrills and laughs that young chapter readers are seeking.

Garbage Pail Kids (GPK) is all about nostaligia for me. This is book 2 in a new early chapter book series. I liked it but I didn't love it. My nephews on the other hand, eagerly awaiting this book.
