I enjoyed this, my second from Lorraine Heath. I enjoyed the setting, characters, and the independent heroine and resilient hero. The ways they took care of each other and placed the other‘s wishes above their own-so lovely. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another swoony series-starter by Ms. Heath. The comedic beginning is a delightful surprise from an author I often associate with angsty writing. As usual, the characters (Kathryn and Griffith) are strong and well-drawn, the conflict is heart-pinching, and the resolution sigh-worthy.

Happy to see the Trewloves again. I can‘t wait for King‘s book and maybe Marcus‘s somewhere down the road.
